Dustman Remodel - Choreograph Finish
This post is a little unique because it covers a couple different projects. Why? Because I found one product and was able to use it in several areas. I used it to match my wall paint color which I used for my counter tops as well. I used in my master bathroom, around windows, my spare bathroom shower, and even my kitchen backsplash. I promise I’m not affiliated with this company in any way. I just love its simplicity. I love that no one even notices it yet it does so much. I’m not a fan of the price of it, but I think it was because it’s such a new product and as it becomes more common the price will average out.
Have you heard of FRP? It’s not that. FRP is what you find in commercial places like airports and gas station bathrooms because it’s super cheap and easy to clean. When Kohler’s Choreograph Panels are like the modern version of FRP. They are thicker, easy to clean, and most importantly a matte finish. This means they look like a normal painted wall but have all the benefits of being waterproof, heatproof, easy to clean, and actually nice looking. I went floor to ceiling in both of my bathroom and then but it on one wall of my kitchen as well.
It has been easy to clean, people don’t notice it which is great, and it flows with the house without adding a whole new texture or style. It lets the hexagon tile in my master be the star of the show. Here are some pics for you. There are some transition strips which aren’t my favorite but they are necessary for any kind of panel. Good thing is these transition strips are a lot more streamlined and minimal than FRP’s bigger, clunkier version.
