Japan Missions Toolkit

Missionaries in Japan have some awesome programs going on. Not just international missionaries but I love to promote indigenous missionaries in Japan. Real Japanese people sharing the love of our healer with real Japanese people. In much of my research, I struggled to find a compiled list of resources with updated links. So why not put one together myself? That's what I did. If a link no longer works I will update it right away. And if you know of anything missing or want to be added to this list, let me know on my facebook page.

This list is long which is a beautiful thing! There are many more resources for Japan missions than you may ever need. But for those interested in getting into Japan for missions, church planting, teaching English, even business as missions in art or music then this list should be a good starting point for establishing ideas and connecting the dots. Each of these websites is current and working (tested by myself). Go ahead and bookmark this link so you can have it handy later on.

Ways to use this list:

  1. Connecting yourself into needs and opportunities in Japan whether through working as a missionary, volunteer, or business as mission.
  2. Prayer guidance of current needs of missions and their target populations in the country of Japan.
  3. Support financially a ministry you have a heart for. With all these options there's probably one you connect with. If not, let me know!
  4. Share with friends who have a heart for Japan but don't know how they can help within first world missions.
  5. Stay updated with opportunities for growth in your missions circle by networking together for the global gospel.
  6. Find key thought leaders in your niche for speaking opportunities, webinars, or mentorship.

I am also adding a red asterisk (*) for any Japan missions resources I have personally connected with and recommend. For the others, please use your judgment and click through their about page or history to discern for Biblical doctrine. And please, let me know your comments below. If there are gaps in information or certain kinds of resources you are looking for and not finding here, I would love to know about them to keep this list strong.
